Big update on Mangalator
I am happy to inform you that finally I updated Mangalator.
I hope that new responsive design will be more useful for lots of people that are using mobile devices to read Mangalator.
Changes:
- You can hug your favourite Translators – something like following.
- You can subscribe Manga titles and view updates on “My favorite Manga”
- You can log in using both user name or email
- You have genres and lots of categories of Manga – by clicking in category name on Manga page you can see all Manga titles in this category
- Now you can add avatar, cover picture and write some info to your readers.
- Lists of translations on profile pages are far more convenient
- New disqus comment system on profile pages (soon I will move old comments to this section)
- More images on website π – I love to color manga covers π
- More Otaku Mole π
- And lots of small other things
Still I’m testing and finding some bugs. There will be more features very soon 
I saw it! It is superb! I really like the new layout and it’s great to see the comments of the chapters on the right side! I gave it a try on my phone, it’s really more user-friendly now and it seems to work fine.

Oh yeah, you see, I’m used to open a new page by tapping on CTRL key and click with my mouse to open the new link in a new tab but still stay on the current page and continue browsing. But this option is not available on Raffmanga.ch as clicking on anywhere will automatically direct me to the new page. If you could change that, it would be very appreciated. But it’s fine if it stays as the same too!! XD
I would like to ask if there is a way to download the manga that was translated because I really love to read them

By the way, is it possible to delete old drafts? I have a very old Abkhazian draft of Nanoka no Kare because of a missclick :’) Although it doesn’t really matter that much.
I planned to add this feature in this update (and some other great options also), but I wanted to release new version of Mangalator so much, that I decided to add it in the next update (hope, soon).
Ohhh that would be great! π I’m looking forward to the other features you have in mind. But no rush, take your time!

Glad for this update! Looks cool, could you add completed manga section too in “search”, its easier to sort out a lot of manga here. Even if its not full-translated or not. Completed translated manga that I’ve noticed are S LOVE,Mune ga Naru no wa Kimi no Sei, Kiss de Seiyaku & Zetsubou Baby.

The update is great! I mostly use my phone and it’s easier to navigate.
The only thing is when you click on a translation on the main translations page, it first takes you to the translator’s profile page where you have to selection what you want to read again. Same when there’s a new chapter, you have to go through that manga’s main page first.
When using the phone, the less you have to click the better.
Yeah, it would be better if we could be brought directly to a manga, instead of a translator. (May be troublesome when looking through older pages especially)

You sure are a genius. OK I’m overdoing it. But really, you change the business process of translating manga from when it has to be translated by scanlation team to the invention of mangalator, where we can just write our translation on such a box. It’s so cool. Thank you <3 <3 <3

Raff, I’m just awestruck. Cant’ find the words to convey my admiration properly (and I love words and expression, so you see how you knocked me down ;-). The new mangalator is breathtaking.

The new site is great but the new watermark is too much! I’m not one to complain about watermarks as long as I can still sread/see the picture fine but now it’s really much too visible. :C

Just some suggestions on the comment threads here. Where the commment section grows woooooooooof like in Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji,
a) the dates are so confusing and messed up. Boo. You’ll need to show the year also.
b) You need a spoiler tag.
c) You’ll need to have a waveform thread so people can keep replying.. The one that goes in and out the longer it goes, so that it does not squash up and people can still reply.
Also.. if people are logged in on mangalator, can they also be logged in on raffmanga? That way you can enable comment editing and deletions by the user.

tada… hm.. @raff are you sad when you realise it after uploading the new series or new chapter but no comments appear. if i were you i would feel sad, because it looks my effort not been appreciated. but cant help, we read and give comments based on our preference. sometimes we like or dislike ;p. for example i like noragami, but nobody here likes that series, so i stop give comment there on the noragami page and you also never update that series untill now. so… what i am talking about hahah… oh well hihihihihi, i wish you have good day and appreciate for this blog. this blog make everyone happy :p

Of course, I’m trying to upload the most popular series firstly, but you know, I also have my own preferences, for example I decided to bought missing volumes of some series that are very important to me (details soon on my blog). I’m trying to have as much fun from this website as it’s possible and of course I’m very happy if other people are having fun also, but it’s not the most important to me. For example I build Mangalator to finally understand my favourite Oboreru Knife, but I’m still waiting for translations

I believe you can log into Disqus using the same account details you used when you registered on mangalator (I never had a disqus account before but when I tried logging in directly into disqus using my mangalator username/password, it worked.) You can also integrate comments you’ve made on the site previously before the switch to disqus (and also other sites that use disqus) to this account that was automatically created for you through mangalator. I forgot the exact process but if you want to do that and need help, I can look it up again.
Reclicking the “recommend” button should unrecommend it. (The heart will grey out again)
I fixed the recommend button, but my Disqus account still doesn’t work. It doesn’t recognize my email I use with Mangalator to log into their site…

Hi Raff! I love the new layout and what you have done so far with the site. I was wondering though, that it would be really helpful to have some sort of language filter when it comes to updated translations, like “translations in English”, “translations in German” and such. I’d love it if you could consider implementing this. And thanks so much for what you’ve done for the manga community <3
