1. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water (regular – pink)
Application: Entire face w/ cotton pad
This cleansing water removes makeup without leaving a sticky, oily residue on the face. I have the regular one as I don’t really wear waterproof makeup (if you do, get the one with a blue cap). I go over my face twice with this & it takes off all my makeup with ease, no tugging!
2. (Left) Clarisonic Mia 2 & Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleanser (right)
Application: Put a small amount on wet Clarisonic & apply all over face.
If you want a deep clean, I suggest getting a Clarisonic or any face brush. Having oily & acne prone skin sucks, so I use my brush with a acne cleansing brush head (green) as well as my Origins cleanser to reduce the amount of oil production on my skin & to treat my acne. I also love the minty smell & sensation it gives my skin, it helps me wake up in the morning too.
After washing & drying my face, I use this toner to help control my oil throughout the day & to tighten my pores. It’s not too drying on my skin like other toners I’ve tried in the past & I noticed my skin being less oily the last couple of months!
4. Epoch Blemish Treatment
Application: Spot treat on problematic areas
This spot treatment is effective while being easy on the skin. I’ve tried many spot treatments before, but this doesn’t dry me out or burn upon application like the others. As soon as I feel a pimple coming, I put this on and it controls the growth & reduces the inflammation as well!
5. Grassroots Research Labs Vitamin C Brightening Eye Cream
Application: Under & around the outer corners of the eyes
I have insomnia & as a result, I get really bad dark circles at times. This has been very handy with brightening my under eyes & it’s also smells like oranges!
6. Nu Skin True Face Line Corrector
Application: Eye & mouth area
After applying my eye brightening cream, I go in with my Nu Skin Line Corrector. I noticed wrinkles started to form in my eye & mouth area, most likely due to excessive smiling throughout the years. I think it’s better to prevent than cure, so anti-wrinkle cream it is! I also like that this is very lightweight & not heavy like other brands. Plus, if you travel a lot, the packaging is very useful.
7. Nivea Creme
Application: Entire face
This is the last step in both of my routines. Although my skin is oily, it is also important to keep your skin moisturized, otherwise you end up producing more oil. I use a dime size amount in the morning & nickel size amount at night, as this is a thick formula. It’s suited for all skin types & never broke me out, but I HIGHLY recommend this for people with dry skin. It comes in a tub and will literally last you for months or maybe even a year. I’ve had it since January and I’m not even 1/3 through it!
