Before I dive into the first product review, I must let you know that I regularly put on special effects makeup as a hobby. That means putting a lot of body paint, eyeshadow, fake blood, latex, and whatever other cosmetic you can think of on my face. This, of course, not only leads to irritation of the skin, but is a *pain* to take off. With that being said, Purity is an award winning cleanser that does such a wonderful job of making all kinds of cosmetics practically melt off my face! It also leaves my skin purified. After wetting the face, rubbing it around for about a minute is usually perfect for this cleanser to do its job!

Have you ever wanted a toner that basically smells like someone took a rose and wrung out all of the liquid? This is the toner for you! It isn’t too potent with the rose smell at all and is actually pretty theraputic since I consider it a mini aromatherapy! It is very pricey being at $40, but it’s one of those products that lasts you a while and is worth the investment. It’s alcohol free which is good on sensitive skin. I use a spritze or two on my face after using my cleanser. It really helps set the creams I put on after this!

Since I’m only 21 and don’t have any dark circles under my eyes/wrinkles, I can’t say there’s any noticeable difference using this product. With that being said, I know it’s definitely important to start using eye creams and skin care products at an early age since it’s so easy to neglect skin care due to not feeling the need to worry about such things at a young age. I do know some people though who have dark circles under their eyes, and using it the same way I do which is taking a little bit and lightly applying the cream underneath and on the outside of the eyes twice a day proves very effective for them. Once again I wanted to note that I have noticed nothing significant while using this, but that’s only because I have nothing like dark circles/wrinkles yet and it’s never too early to start using cream for future potential problem areas!

One of the most common misconceptions about oily skin is that you need to use products that suck up the oils from your face when the truth is actually the opposite of that! Oily skin needs to be moisturized, and sucking the oils from the skin will only make it more prone to breaking out. Triple Performing Facial Emulsion is a pretty deadly product packed into a cute bottle. It not only hydrates the skin, but also has a nice light rose scent such as the toner (can you sense the favorite smell pattern I have going on here?) AND is SPF 15 so it protects your skin from the sun which is extremely important since I can guarantee you a good amount of us don’t put on sunscreen every day. Another bonus is that it isn’t greasy and leaves the skin feeling very smooth. I use this every morning as the last thing I put on before I go out.

I got this little beast as a reward for spending an embarrassing amount of money at Sephora. Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins nighttime facial cream definitely deserves the word potent because it erases acne and pre-acne like a ~*dream*~ (see what I did there?). Looking it up, I see that it’s $43 but I’ve had my sample size for about 3 months now and am still going strong. I use this every night and think it smells very nice!
