1. Tammy Fender Lavender and Fo-Ti Cleansing Milk
Use: Morning/Evening
Application: Entire face
A gentle cleanser containing lavender, green tea, and aloe butter. In the morning, I usually splash my face with water and rub this in to cleanse. I love how it leaves my skin feeling clean and moisturized, without tightness. The soothing lavender scent is a plus!
2. S.W. Basics Toner
Use: Morning/Evening
Application: Dab all over face
After patting my skin dry, I follow up with S.W. Basics Toner. It’s made with only five ingredients: water, organic raw apple cider vinegar, organic witch hazel, and organic essential oils of clary sage and sandalwood. It took me a while to get used to the vinegar smell, but now I can’t live without this toner – it really brightens up my skin!
3. Farmaesthetics Nourishing Lavender Milk
Use: Morning
Application: Entire face
In the winter, I’ve been loving this facial lotion containing soy and lavender oils. It’s fast-absorbing!
4. Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil
Use: Morning/Evening
Application: 1 or 2 drops smoothed over face
On days when I feel like I need some extra moisture, I add a couple drops of this squalane oil to my face lotion. It doesn’t leave my face feeling greasy at all, and I love how it contains only a single pure ingredient. In the summertime, I use it on its own to let my skin breathe!
5. Farmaesthetics Cool Aloe Mist
Use: As needed
Application: Spritz onto face
This multi-purpose mist is a refreshing blend of aloe vera, witch hazel, and lavender and bergamot essential oils. I keep it in the fridge during hot summer months and spritz all over for a quick spick-me-up!
6. May Lindstrom The Clean Dirt
Use: Evening, a couple times per week
Application: Comes dry. Tap a coin-sized amount into the palm, and add a few drops of water to activate. Smooth all over face.
This is a powder-to-mousse exfoliating cleanser containing cleansing clays, warming spices and healing salts – super energizing! A couple times a week, I smooth it all over my face, wait a couple minutes, and then rinse. It gives an instant glow and smells amazing – no wonder with ingredients like cinnamon, clove, ginger, and raw cacao!
7. May Lindstrom Honey Mud
Use: Evening, to give skin a boost
Application: Mix with water to cleanse or layer on thickly as a nourishing mask
I love to wash my face with raw honey, but when I’m in the mood for something extra luxurious, I reach for this cleansing mud, which is a blend of raw honey, white halloysite clay, and plant oils. It feels like thick pudding, and I apply it as a mask to hydrate and detoxify. It leaves my skin glowing!
