She felt a hand on her back.

“Please get in Miss Gutmann.”

She swallowed hard and trying not to look forward, with bowed head she went inside, taking a place on the other side. When everyone were inside and she sat between policeman and the brown haired guy, the vehicle started.

With all her strength she fought the urge to look into those eyes, but suddenly her desires got the better and slow, as if she was a small girl, reprimanded by father, she raised her head. And then she frozen.

Those eyes… Those eyes certainly belonged to madwoman. Eli sat still. Her slightly open lips didn’t move. They didn’t make any sounds. She felt the cold sweat and faster heartbeat. The woman wasn’t old. Her dark hair were messy. They looked like a big nest. In her mouth had she gag and on her wrists rested irons.

Suddenly Eli controlled herself and followed the woman eyes. Insecure, she lowered her eyes, uncovering the cause of concern. The medallion… She quickly grab hems of her coat, covering herself.

Policeman  nodded at sitting next to the madwoman man. The man gave a sign that he understand. Then he bent down and under the seat he took out a linen bag. He placed it on the head of struggled woman.

“Much more better.” Said policeman

“Doesn’t she not suffocate in it?” Asked Eli.

“Unfortunately, no.” Said policeman.

“How can you say that! Especially about woman?!”

“Woman? Miss Gutmann besides you, I don’t see here any other woman.”

“Is that mean that you choose who can be called woman and who not?”

“Miss Gutman…” Said policeman as if he was disgusted this whole conversation. “I can assure you that I have the greatest respect for women, with a few exceptions. I hope that you also Miss, not turn out to be exception.”

She trembled, hearing the last word.

“Exceptions… what she did?” She tried to hide her nervousness, but her tone betrayed her emotions.

“She killed.”

Terrified, she looked at the woman.

“Twelve hits. Exactly twelve hits deal by axe, took a pregnant woman.”

“That’s horrible. What kind of person could do something like that?”

“Everyone, because gold is a nasty poison.”
